Shirley, Thanks for your follow up message. Thorough, as usual. I think Henry Walbridge, in 1860, was a prosperous farmer. The Wakefields lived with him, maybe the daughter married a Wakefield, and then they lived next to the Washburns. Looks like one Walbridge was a sailor. I'll let you know if I find out more about them. The RB Hayes Library is sending me information Elizabeth Evans, the woman I believe may well be Mary Evans Speaker's mom. We shall see what fruit that bears.
