Captain Archibald Wilson was a revolutionary war soldier and a distinguished early settler of Licking County. Among other accomplishments he was clerk of the first Licking County Board of Commissioners. He was married to Nancy Newman and they had five sons and two daughters. The sons were George, William B., John N., David and Enoch.
I would like to find a living male descendant of Archibald who would be willing to have his Y-DNA tested to help resolve a disagreement between some Wilsons who claim to be descended from Archibald when it is not genetically possible for them all to be (different Y-DNA).
No matter what the DNA test shows, it will change the family trees of many Wilsons (assuming we have a valid subject).
Any direct male descendant of Archibald who'd like to know more should contact Len.Wilson@ricochet.com
