Newark Advocate 28 Jul 1913 obituary "RULEN BRUNER. Rulen Bruner, an old soldier, died at his home in McKinley avenue on Sunday evening at 7 o'clock. He is survived by his widow and four children, Mrs. Jane Willey, three miles northeast of the city; George Bruner, seven miles south of the city; Wm. H. Bruner of Madison township, and Homer B. of the home. Funeral from the home Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. Mr. Madden officiating. Interment in Cedar Hill cemetery."
