Well, after this discussion, I checked back at Ancestry.com.Now, Ancestry may have it wrong, wouldn't be the first time, but, in 1850, there is indeed an Elizabeth Township listed in Licking Co., OH.(That is where I found the ELBIN/ELBAN family I was looking for.) However, looking at the top of the actual census image page, it plainly says Perry Twp.
So, in 1860, the logical next step in researching this family, there is no listing of an Elizabeth Township in Licking Co.That's why, being new to researching this area, I asked what happened to Elizabeth Township.Maybe Ancestry.com is wrong? And I suppose to try to find them in the 1860, I check through Perry Township??
