Mrs. Lisk posted: "In 1831 (David Hannah) and Joseph Hannah were trustees of the Union Meeting House.A deed for a non-denominational church was executed by them to trustees.Contributing to the building fund was David Hannah's 20 gal. of whiskey." Another that: "Union Meeting house (was) 3 miles East of Zanesfield, Logan county OH."
Was/is there a cemetary? Is there a church or synagogue there now, and if so what is its name? Where would it be on a map, or in latitude and longitude? All I have is a "world map" but it looks like 3 miles might put it east of the Mad River... and a ways back from the roads shown.
I'm trying to figure out where David Hannah was buried after he passed away 1844 July 21; but it could have been on his farm and the location since lost. His first wife's father, Hugh Vance, was a Presbyterian minister in the Shenandoah Valley... and Hugh's father, Charles Vance, was a Presbyterian elder in York or Lancaster county PA.
