The obit appeared in the Chronicle Telegram Newspaper, in Elyria Ohio, on March 24,1966, page 28. The obit is as follows:
Ralph Leppien
Ralph Leppien, 56, of 357 Columbus St., a veteran of World War II, died a 4 a.m. today in Brecksville Veterans Hospital after a three months illness.
Mr. Leppien was born in Elyria May 16,1909 and lived all his life here. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, the American Legion Post 12, and the Carpenters Local.
Surviving are his wife Beatrice E., a son, Alan R., at home: His mother Mrs. Herman Leppien, and three sisters, Mrs. Ernest Williams, Mrs. Harold Dean, and Mrs. William Pasenow, all of Elyria. A brother Herman W., died in service during World War II.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Sudro - Curtis Funeral Home with the Rev. W.W. Walker officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
