In the same census, Katy EVOY was a boarder in the home of William and Harriet BROWN at 336 Vance Street. The household consisted of: head, William, 38, b Dec 1861, md 1 yr, OH IE IE, longshoreman wife, Harriet, 34, b Sep 1865, no chn, MI Ger Ger boarder, Katy EVOY, 14, b Dec 1885, OH OH OH, at school
The 300 block of Vance was 7-8 blocks from Lafayette & South St. Clair Streets.
A Catherine E. EVOY is in the 1900 Toledo census with her husband at 1504 Front St. in East Toledo. The census shows: head, Thomas N. EVOY, 46, b Apr 1854, md 25 yrs, Can IE IE, immigrated 1860, naturalized, saloon keeper wife, Catherine E., 46, b Feb 1854, no children, NY IE IE
In 1910, Thomas and C/Katherine are still at 1504 Front St. but Catherine says she has one living child and Thomas said he immigrated in 1872. Thomas was not employed as he stated he had his own income.
In 1920, Thomas and Catherine are now both 65 and still at 1504 Front. Thomas is now the proprietor of a soft drink parlor.
I didn't find a Martin EVOY in any census and Catherine B. was the only EVOY in the OHDI 1913-37. She died 18 Jul 1923 in Lucas County.
