"Toledo Blade", Monday, Jan. 29, 1951, 2-8-1: Frank Badstuber, 74, or 1350 Yates St., a former foreman at the Buckeye Brewing Co., died yesterday at home. Born in Germany, Mr. Badstuber was a Toledo resident 50 years. He was employed 35 years at the brewery until his retirement four years ago. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Margaret Moneymaker, Toledo, and Mrs. Helen Smith, Athens, O.; sister, Mrs. Adelaide Warmuth, and brother, F. Joseph Badstuber, both of Cleveland, and two grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Bennett Mortuary, Dr. John W. Walker, of First Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be private.
Mary died in Toledo on 26 Dec 1949, age 76. Her obit says she was born in Germany and had lived in Toledo 60 years. Her survivors included sisters, Mrs. P. F. Theis of Toledo, Mrs. Joseph Hayward of California and Mrs. William Goldfuss of Defiance, Ohio; brothers, Jack, Leonard and Ernest Kraus, all of Toledo and Adam Kraus of Detroit. Her services were from the Bennett Mortuary with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
