I can't find any record of Simon's meat market ever being at 710 Cherry Street.
From the 1879-80, 1883-84, 1885-86 and 1887-88 city directories his store and residence were at 161 Cherry. In the 1888-89 and 1890-91 directories he was at 727 Cherry.
Simon and Theresia EGGLI (EGGL in English) were married on 12 Oct 1875 by Fr. William KOCKEROLS in St. Mary's. Their witnesses were J. Georg and Elisab. WEISSENBERGER.
Simon and Theresa had 2 children; Minnie/Wilhelmina and Charles/Carl/Karl F.W.
Minnie married Henry L. LEWIS 16 Feb 1915 and by the 1920 census, she is a widow. Henry may have died of alcoholism on 9 Apr 1917 in the City House of Corrections. The informant was the coroner Dr. Hartung and he did not know if Henry was married or who Henry's parents were. He estimated Henry to be about 40 years old.
Son Karl Frederick William married Maybelle/May Belle/Mable EGGL on 29 Jun 1915 and as of the 1930 census they had one child, Theresa, born about 1921.
When Maybelle died 1 Sep 1940, Karl was the informant. When he died 31 Aug 1942, daughter Theresa was the informant. If she married, her child/ren would be the the last Weissenberger descendant/s.
