David's father was Frank Cooper, who apparently lived with this son later in life. They are there for the 1930 census, living in David's household, with the mother, Emily; wife, Alice; older brother Ray; and children "Junior" (male, age 4), and "Labern" (female, age 3). I don't find them in 1940 (that census isn't searchable enough yet for me to locate much of anything), and would like to trace them for potential descendants down the "Junior" line. I can only assume that Junior is actually David, Jr., but that is purely speculation. David's older brother Ray appears to be a dead end.
I have this 1906 David's lineage traced back 3 generations to a David b. 1791. I am descended from a separate second generation branch.
I am preparing a Cooper genealogy and want to include all male descendants I can find who are currently carrying the paternal surname forward. I've got over a hundred pages of Coopers with precious few males "carrying it forward."
