From "The Blade", Friday, Jan. 10, 1986, S1, P6, C1: Vernal B. Lewis, 88, of Wesley Drive, Temperance, Mich., died yesterday in his home. He was a car insector 30 years for the former New York Central Railroad, retiring in 1971.
Surviving are his son, John; daugters(sic), Mrs. Naomi Haas, Mrs. Beaulah Stevens, and Mrs. Ellen Walls; sisters, Mrs. Mae Lawton, Mrs. Gladys Weasel, and Mrs. Opal Smith, and a brother, Ehrlin. Services will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow in the Ansberg-West Mortuary, where the body will be after 2 p.m. today.
Note: Another son, Vernal L. LEWIS, d 13 Aug 1984 in Maumee, Lucas, OH.
