Hi, Can anybody tell me where to find accident reports for Carnegie Steel Ohio Works, which was based in Youngstown? My great-great grandfather, Rosario Tomaino, lost his eye there. According to family stories, a piece of steel went into his eye, & blinded him. This would have happened between 1910 & 1929, but I'm thinking late-1910s, early-1920s. He received a pension from there & had a glass eye. Concerning the glass eye, I believe he must have gotten money from Carnegie as compensation because the family would never have been able to afford a glass eye.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Sincerely, Cara Michaels
