The WV death certificate images are available online for about 1917-1955 (more years in some counties) at http://www.wvculture.org/VRRhttp://www.wvculture.org/VRR.I've found them to be extremely useful, and I'm spreading the word.
I found one for Morice Barker (1922) and another for Francis Belle Barker (1944).
Morice's certificate gives his dates and names his parents, James Barker (b.VA-now WV), and Mary J. Looman (b.Ohio). I can't read the first name of the informant, but maybe you can.
Francis's certificate gives her dates and names her parents, Joseph Eddy (b. West Union OH) and Elizabeth Stewart (b. Tyler Co WV).Mercedes Mehl of Sistersville is the informant.
There were more than 30 Eddy death certificates from Tyler County, by the way.I bet you'll find something interesting at that site!
By the way, Ohio has a similar service (1913-1944), although it is just an online index, and you would need to write to them for the certificate itself: http://www.ohiohistory.org/dindex/index.cfmhttp://www.ohiohistory.org/dindex/index.cfm
