I am looking for anyone having information about who Jesse F Coy b.1871 was the son of..
I beleive him to have been born in Greene Co, but perhaps Montgomery Co.
Trying to figure out his father was??? Jesse F Coy-b.1871-Ohio -d.1947-Harrison Twp.,Montgomery Co.,Ohio -buried in Mt.Zion-Shoup Cem,Greene co,Ohio he married Daisey E (?) b.1876-Ohio d.Harrison Twp.,Montgomery Co.,Ohio "" Supported by the 1910,1920 and 1930-Ohio,Montgomery Co.,Census & Beavercreek Cem. Inscriptions ** Their children : *Grace L Coy b.1896-Ohio d.1944 married Harry Bailey b.1894d.1967(m) in abt.1920-they had Harold Edgaer Bailey b.1/6/1921 , and Donald Bailey b.12/21/1918-(all in the Dayton area) (both Grace & Harry buriedin Mt.Zion-Shoup kids lived near Yellow Springs,Greene Co.,Ohio
*Mary B Coy b.July 22,1897 tod.May 2,1970-buried in Mt.Zion Shoup
*Helen E Coy b.1899-no further info
*Verna F Coy b.1901-married (?) Siebenrhaler- I found MANY by this surname in the Dayton area in age range from 35-75yr that would probably be connected somehow to him
*Robert E Coy b.July 12,1916-d.July 7,1990( This was the obituary from the Dayton News )Robert married Marion Fricke -they had : son Robert E Coy Jr b.abt.1936 daug.Judy Coy -married Robert Coster His funeral was held at Paul R Young Funeral Home .The article also said he was from Cincinnati(maybe he only lived in the area, not from there ) but died in Dayton This aslo would suggest that his older sisters had all passed away before 1990.
Some of the materials sent to me are still being figured out, the obituaries and marriage info, I haven't been able to completely tie ALL COY's of Montgomery and Greene Co together...(To my Jacob of 1739)
But here's the odd thing.. 1920-Ohio When I searched all Jesse Coy of Ohio-only 2 came up! BOTH in Montgomery Co. one in Harrison Twp..this Jesse F Coy -48yr ..the other I know about and have in my stuff.
I beleive to be his cousin somehow Jesse E Coy b.1874 -45 yr old Butler Twp.,Montgomery Twp.,Ohio (son of Aaron Coy & Diana Funderburgh)
Anyhow, it seems unlikely that they are not kindred?? *I have the Greene Co.-Beavercreek Cem Insp Vol VI-there is not one COY I have found NOT connected to Jacob somehow...
I am quite sure some other family of COY could have been living in the farther Twp of Montgomery, closer to the other County towards Indiana.
*The Cincinnati reference..well, I really don't know if any connected COY made it back down that way..However the time frame could be anywhere in the 1900-1990..kinda broad..
