I presently have a major project I have been working on to connect EVERY COY related to on another in the GREENE Co. & MONTGOMERY Co. area..
*I'm in seriuos hunt to prove alot of the Dayton COY.s..
I have over 550 COY's in my database that is on Rootsweb.com user id 2crice uf you are searching for COY's and spouses on the rootsweb site..
I have become very interested in all of the Spouses and siblings too..At last count I had over 12,300 in my database.
I really want to hear from famliy members taht know of a COY marriage in the DAYTON area from 1800-1920's time frame..I'm more concerned with those that have past away, and maybe still have COYs and other Kindred in the area..
But I don't want to post lving peoples info..
*So far nearly every COY buried in Mt.Zion-Shoup Cem is related to Johann Jacob Coy b.1739 the Rev.War Patriot that brought a group of 20 family and friends to Greene Co in 1802
*I've also yet to cross a COY from Green co not related to him, and I'm working on the Montgomery Co. COYs and spouses..
I have Census records 1820 to 1930, marriage info records,Cem. Insciptiosn for several townships, and whole History of Greene Co. on CD for research..
I need other researchers to give me input and help connect these loose ends..
