DONALD "DON" MILLER
Miller, Donald "Don", age 82 of Dayton, passed away suddenly Sunday, March 14, 2004. Mr. Miller was a veteran of the US Army having served his country during WWII. He was retired from the City of Dayton as a Firefighter after 28 years of service. Mr. Miller was a Lifetime member of the Polish Club and was a member of the Teamsters Union 957. Don is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gertrude; 4 children; Sheryl DeHart & husband Tom of Dayton, Donna Dynes & husband Bobby of Greenville, Glenn Miller, Bruce Miller; 9 grandchildren; Donald DeHart, David DeHart, Laura Schaefer, Lisa Morris, Nick Miller, Brandy Miller. Kristen Miller, Cortney Miller, Stephanie Miller; 20 great-grandchildren; D.J., Matt, Jessie, Jake, Justin, Kayla, Kody, Evan, Toni, Kaysi; 1 sister, Eleanor of Pittsburg, PA.; 1 brother, John Miller; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The Miller Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 17, 2004, from 6 to 9 PM at the Magetti Gavin Funeral Home, 1508 Valley Street, where funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, March 18, 2004, interment to follow in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association in memory of Mr. Miller. Donation envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
