ROBERT "PETE" MILLER ---- Miller, Robert "Pete" age 79, of Beavercreek, passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2002, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on November 08, 2002. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie (Sherman) Miller, in 1998; his parents Jacob J. and Mabel (Ireland) Miller; three brothers, Charles, Alfred & his wife Ruby, Harry & his wife Irene Miller, a sister, Jennie, and her husband J. D. Lanning; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Paul and Garnet Sherman, Elmer Sherman, Edna and Willard Noble. He is survived by his sister, Eleanor Miller; two brothers, Donald and wife, Gertrude Miller, John and wife, Betty Miller; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Rita and John Ruppert, Dale and Anna Sherman, Charlene Sherman, Don and Betty Sherman, Velma Beach, Virginia Miller; and numerous other relatives and friends. Pete was retired from General Motors after 31 years of service. He was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church. He served with the U. S. Marine Corps during WWII and was a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post 2800. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 A.M. Monday, December 16, 2002, at the Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Father William Kramer presiding. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-5 P.M. on Sunday. In lieu of flowers. contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society in memory of Pete.
