I have the honor to inform you, that the Board of Enrollment in this District, has this day accepted James Wolford, as a Substitute for William McCaslin of Wayne Township Muskingum Co, Ohio, notified as drafted in your District May 17th 1864.
I herewith enclose [for] you [a] “Duplicate” certificate, given McCaslin, which is signed by the members of the Board of said District.
