KALIDA SENTINEL VOL. X # 26 NOVEMBER 24, 1864
Page 2, Column 4 : Legal Notice - "To Robert Martin, now in the army of the United States of America, Peter Martin, and Obediah Martin, of the State of Iowa, the heirs of Hannah Body, dec'd, and Hannah Barker dec'd, whose names and places of residence are unknown. Notified C. B. Stemen, adm'r estate of James K. P. Martin dec'd on 15 November 1864, filed petition estate insufficient to pay debts. In lot 3 in Kalida, as designated on original town plat, Silas Martin, Rhoda Body, Elizabeth Slegle and Nancy Burnett holds an interest therin, and that Robert Martin, Christopher Martin, Peter Martin, Obediah Martin, and the unknown heirs of Hannah Body and Hannah Burkes {says Burkes, but means Barker?] dec'd and the heirs of Mary White dec'd, as heirs at law, hold next estate of inheritance therin. C.B. Stemen, adm'r James K.P. Martin dec'd. November 14, 1864."
