A deed in which Felix Hoover and wife Clarissa (Edmonds?) of Delaware Ohio convey property to a William Hoover (described as legatee) is dated Feb. 2, 1866.It appears to have been drawn up in Delaware county, Ohio and filed and recorded in Paulding county, Ohio June 17, 1873. From what I can decipher of the document, the land appears to be in section 28 of Brown township. The land is in range 4, so it is either Brown, Washington to the south or Auglaize township to the north.
This may be the same Felix who wed Catherine Hollister in 1855 in Delaware county, Ohio
A Henry Hoover and wife Mahala arrived in Paulding county between 1848 and 1850.They had a son named William born in 1847.He wed Magaret Linnaberry from a Delaware county family.Perhaps he is the one obtaining the land from an uncle?
In 1862 a Samuel Moore of Worcester MAconveys property in Section 22 of Jackson township, Paulding county, Ohio to a Joseph Hoover of Sunbury, Delaware county, Ohio.
Does anyone have information regarding these folks?
