STEELE, Dr. Harry, brother of Capt. W. H. C. STEELE of Gratis and Mrs. George LOCKWOOD of Anderson, IN. died at his home in Peoria, Ill. November 14, 1902, age about 70. Born in Eaton, son of John STEEL who died here during the cholera plague of 1849. Went West when a young man and settled in Peoria where he has been a leading physician for 40 years

Married April 29., 1849 to W. H. Steele, who survives. Methodist. Husband's sister, Mrs. Mary Truax of Kansas City,, Kansas, ministered to bar during her illness.
