The D&WT was in the middle of US 35 The only place they had to go off the established road was on the spur line into New Paris because the road was built on hills into New Paris so they had to build a new road bed into town. This new line went through the land of William Watt or Watts who was married to Rachel Cline or Kline. William owned several farms between Eaton and the state line as did the Cline family
The Watts stop is on the road north of Campbellstown.
One of William Watt's farm was about a mile south of this stop.
