Lt. Robert Harvey, War of 1812 and unit commander, did not have a son named James Augustus Harvey. The establishment proving Ross County Ohio's Robert Harvey who did serve in the War of 1812 is through the rooster of his men.Found in amongst the names is a man who eventually married Robert's sister and has been establish through genealogy contact. That man's brother also is listed amongst the group. Robert and Henrietta Harvey's last child was born in 1818. Their family moved as a group with the Brown family to Indiana in 1831 following the "Old National Road" which is today US 40. Only one son married in Ross Co. with the other sons marring in Indiana. The family was from the state of Maryland with residency in this county of Ohio being nearly 30 years. I am respectfully yours Steven K. Harvey caretaker of the Harvey Cemetery and Robert and Henrietta Harvey's great great great grandson.
