David,
Forgive me.That's what happens when you don't have your paperwork in front of you when you are answering queries.
My great, great, great, great grandparents were Henry and Christian Plyley. Their son was Samuel Plyley who married Eliza Ross in Ross County, Ohio (these two are buried in a family plot near Gallatin, MO).Their daughter was Nancy Plyley who married John Winkleman August 10, 1856 in Davies County, MO (these two are buried at Harrell Cemetery in Cushing, Payne County, OK).Their son was Benjamin Frederick Winkleman who married first Orea Wollery and second Mary Elizabeth Davidson on September 18, 1883 in Kansas City, MO (my ancestor).Mary Elizabeth's brother, Thomas J. Davidson married Sarah Jane Winkleman, who was Benjamin Frederick's sister.Their children were double cousins.Thomas J. and Sarah Jane eventually divorced and their children were raised by other family members.Eventually, Sarah Jane went back to the name of Winkleman.Benjamin and Mary Elizabeth Winkleman were my grandmother's ancestors.
I have a picture of Nancy Plyley when she was older. If I have any information which might help you, please let me know.I look forward to hunting with you.
