I am looking for information about the inn and tavern in Wheelersburg, Scioto Co., OH which was owned and run by Rezin ENSLOW and his wife Mary (SEBRING) ENSLOW in the 1830 to 1850's.
Does anyone have a picture of his inn and know where in Wheelersburg it was located? The description of the property in the land records of Scioto Co. is as follows:
"the South half of inlot #30, 41 ft. 3 inches on Main Street running back to an alley"
I have some pictures of the inn, but they are so pale that I can hardly make them out.
I have a drawing of a brandy bottle with his insignia on it which Rezin used in his inn.The drawing was made by a descendant who has one of the bottles. The insignia is an "R.E. 1836" enclosed in a wreath which is open at thetop.
I have much information on the ENSLOW and SEBRING and related families and would love to correspond with anyone related to these families.
