Darrell this is such a unique name. For years I have been searching for a side of my Mother's maternal side in regards to her Uncles.Ola Angeline DouthittCopy of their marriage license was for 15 June 1906 in Newton Co. Missouri city of Joplin. She and her husband John B. Risley were in Denver Colorado in 1910. But cannot find them any later.John's mother (my maternal grandmother) and his grandmoher(my great grandmother) died within one month of each other during the 1919 flu epidemic. From the census they did not have any children. But from other listings know Douthitt were still in Joplin years later. Also noticed a "Minnie" Douthitt was listed in 1913 Denver city directory. She was a nurse at County hospital. she was listed with William E., Nellie Ellen, and Cora Ellen.Believe Wm died by 1917Colorado. I at one time opened www.alltheweb.com and typed in the surname.down near bottom of page 3 there was a Clampett family mentioning Douthits.Good luck.
