ALCOHOLISM IS CAUSE OF DEATH Albert H. Kline Dies Shortly
After Stricken Tuesday Afternoon.
A verdict of alcoholism was returned by Coroner Virgil Fowler after investigating the death of Albert H. Kline, about 60, who died at his home, 1203 Ninth street, Tuesday about 3 p. m. According to Coroner Fowler and the police report the man had been drinking varied products contaning alcohol, including non-freezing mixtures for automobile radiators.
Mr. Kline was taken ill about 2 p. in. Tuesday nnd died within a few hours.
The family formerly resided in Fullerton.
Surviving are his widow Mrs. Margaret Kline and the following children, Marjorie, Alberta, Ernest and Albert at home and Forest of Sciotoville. He also leaves one grandchild Betty Lou Forest of Sciotoville.
Three sisters and two brothers also survive: Mrs. Frank Blackburn, and Mrs. J. H. Collins of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Nancy Musser of Portsmouth, William Kline of St. Louis and Edward Kline of Portsmouth.
The body was removed to the Richards funeral home where it will remain until time for the funeral
Thursday at 2:30 p. m. with Rev. Haily Burkhart of the First Christian church officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn cemetery.

Mrs. Margaret Kline
Mrs. Margaret Mae Kline, 77, died at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday at Portsmouth Receiving Hospital. She had been ill the last five years and entered the hospital June 18.
Mrs. Kline, widow ,of Albert Kline, who died in 1931, resided with her two daughtersat 1761 llth St. She was a member, of First Christian Church,,Royal Neighbors of America, daughters of America;' Degree of Pocahontas and the Women's Benefit Assn.
She was'bom March 1, 1878, in Lewis County, Ky., daughter of William Goodwin and Katherine Montgomery Goodwin.
Survivors are three sons, Forrest H. Kline, 403 Bloom St., Sciotoville, Ernest Klineof Dayton and Albert Kline Jr. of Detroit; two daughters. Miss Marjorie Kline and Mrs. Alva Lunsfod, both of 1761 llth St., four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Kline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two daughters and a son.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Brock Funeral Home, Rev. Cahrles Reinhard officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Burial Park under the direction of Brock Funeral Home.

Mrs. Marjorie Kline
Mrs.MarjorieKline, 56, of 511 Bloom St., died at 10:05 p.m. Saturday in Portsmouth General Hospital, where she had been a patient 39 days.
Mrs. Kline retired in 1949 from Selby Shoe Co. where she had been employed morethan 20 years. She was a topstitcher.
She was a veteran of World War I, serving with the U. S.
Navy as a yeomanette.
Mrs. Kline was born May 9, 1899, in Portsmouth, a daughter of Albert Kline and Margaret Mae Goodwin Kline.
She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Women of the Moose and United Shoe Workers of America Union Local No. 117.
Mrs. Kline is survived by three brothers, Forrest, of Sciotoville. Ernest, of Dayton, and Albert, of Detroit; a
sister, Mrs. Alberta Lunsford. 511 Bloom St.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brock Funeral Home. Rev. E. Paul Haynes, rector at All Saints Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Albert Kline Jr.
Mrs. Albert Kline Jr., 47, of Cleveland, died at 6 a.m. today at her residence following an illness of six months. She was a former Portsmouth resident.
Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Billie Montavon, 614 Fifth St.; three sisters, Mrs. Ilene Marsh, of the Fifth St. address, Mrs. Margaret Gerlach, 1918 19th St. and Miss Dorothy Montavon of Coumbus, and a brother, Paul, of Akron.
She was preceded in death by her father, three brothers and a sister.
Funeral arrangements are under direction of Mart Glynn Funeral Home.
