Hi Adine, The cemetery still exists. It is just that the government moved some of the graves in order to flood a section of the cememtery. It is not near a river. The library in warren has several cemetery books. In one of them it stated that one of my anscestors had been moved to a different cemetery.... in my case they were moved to Bazetta Cemetery. I still think contacting the library would be worth your efforts even if you had to pay a small fee for searching. The resevoir is called Mosquito Lake.It is not a resevoir like I am use to thinking of ... they use this lake for recreational purposes but it is the water supply for the locals. It was enlarged and the graves moved when the CCC came to increase the water supply to the growing area. If you have an Ohio road map you should be able to locate the lake. Pam Oh some of the graves when they went to move them had no stones or unreadable stones. So some knowledge was lost forever if they could not find paper work to aid them. I genealogical nightmare. Have you found out who is buried in the Mahoning Ave. Pioneer Cemetery in town by the river? I hope to go down to the area within the month... maybe if I can find time ... I could snoop for you.Smile!
