There are no Brakeman monuments shown in any cemetery in Trumbull County from 1800 to 1930.Of course, it is possible they are buried in Trumbull County but have no monument or the monument is no longer standing. Lewis Brakeman seems to have gone to Mercer Co. Pa. For whatever it's worth, as you know, the very old handwritten records are very difficult to read and when the Trumbull County Genealogical Society published the Trumbull County Marriage Records from 1800 to 1900 they show a marriage license appears on page 6 of 1816 to 1822 marriage license records and the marriage info appears in QS/118..QS means Quarterly Session Records..the volunteers who copied the records read this particular one as David BRAKEN and Clarissa HAYSE, both of Hartford and states they were married 11 December 1816 by Justice of Peace Asachel Banning. "Braken" could have been Brakeman. Is there a David Brakeman in your line?
Wish I could help more.Have you done all the census searches?
