I am looking for the graves of my 5th great grandparents, William Dixon 1767-1826 and Sarah John Dixon 1767-1823.
I thought they were buried at Ratcliffsburg Cemetery, but I recently found out there is no Ratcliffsburg Cemetery.
A family member said she visited the cemetery where they're buried several years ago.It was near Ratcliffsburg. She believed it was on the property of a Mable Scott. It was in a barnyard area and couldn't be seen from the road. She said the official name of the cemetery could be Scott or Dixon.
The internet gives the following directions for a Scott Cemetery:(Directions Verified) At Ratcliffburg just east of the intersection of US50 and CR13a on the north side of US50. On private property (but you can walk to it) behind a silo and shed in a dung filled field. Cemetery is in a very poor, unmaintained condition. It is one giant briar patch.
Does anyone live near this area?Does anyone have a cemetery record for Scott Cemetery?Could I impose on anyone to go and take a look?
