Hi - I also researching some of the same family...here's what I have right now:
Moses Freeman, born in Virgina around 1800, lived in Vinton County Ohio starting before 1850, with his wife Peachy Ann (Napper?),also born in Virginia.
Children in 1860: Harriet John William E. Lois M. Thomas Adelia Moses Sanford Joseph
In the 1900 census, the children living with them were Mary, Joseph & Elizabeth.
The oldest daughter Harriet married Michael Donahue or Donahoe and stayed in the Wilkesville, Vinton County area. There was a Michael Donahue (born in Ireland) living in the Moses Freeman household in 1860.Harriet and Michael's daughter Katherine Donahue married Henry Oiler (which is where I started working from).
An interesting note...the Freeman's were listed in the 1850-1880 census as mulatto, but other records show them listed as white.I'd really like to learn more about this group!
Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org & we can compare notes!
