The family migrated from NY through PA to OH (there in 1850 and 1860 Warren Co. censuses) to IN (Jay and Randolph Co.; in 1870 Winchester, Randolph Co. census).William d. ca. 1876, then his widow Margaret remarried Nathaniel Jackson ADAMSON and moved with the younger children to Richmond, Wayne Co., IN, (1880 census) where the family has remained centered.
