I can't remember which cemetery we saw Meyerholtz's buried at, but it was either Lake Township Cemetery in Walbridge (Wood Co.), or Union Cemetery in Elmore (Ottawa Co.).I have an obituary for a Bertha Sophia Carsten, born 7/12/1894, married to Emil Meyerholtz. She is buried in Limestone Cemetery.I have another one for Sophia Margaretha Libbe, born in Woodville around 1852, married to Fred Meyerholtz. She was buried at Union Cemetery.
I have baptism records: #721a Carper, Clara Lucile, dau of Louis Theo. and Marie (Oberhaus) b. 7/22/1908.Sponsors: Elisabeth (Widmer) Beck, Clara (Carper) Snyder, Sophia (Libbe) Meyerholz.
722a. Krantz, Lawrence Raymond, son of Johannes and Alta (Meyerholz), b. 3/3/1909 in Woodville.Sponsors: John Hy. Wm. Libbe, Sophia (Wiemeyer) Libbe.
There are quite a few Lehman's that are found as Layman or Lehmann in this area.
I know you're looking for Layman, but maybe a lead on other Meyerholtz/Myerholtz's will help you with the area. They aren't in my line, I just happen to have a lot of odds and ends accumulated from this area of Ohio.
