Looking for information on James W. Strouse, b. 1860 in Ohio. In 1900, he was a plumber living on Main Street in Fostoria with wife Mabel West Strouse, b. 1870, and daughters Phally, b. 1887, and Clara, b. 1892. Mabel was born in New York State.
By 1910, Mabel/Mable had remarried, to a salesman named William H. Munson, b. 1874, and they lived in Los Angeles. Phally married a man named Smith in Ohio. Clara married a Victor L. Fleming on April 7, 1909 in Los Angeles, but left him in 1911 and by 1913 had returned to Ohio, presumably to her sister Phally's house at RFD 1, Perrysburg, in Wood County.
Phally died at age 27 on March 9, 1915. It is believed that Clara may died during the WWI-era flu epidemic, and that she may also have remarried. It is likely that she is buried with either her father or sister.
Any information about what happened to either James Strouse, Clara Strouse Fleming or Phally Strouse Smith is appreciated!
