I have checked in my various reference books, and I found no mention of anyone by the name of NUTTLE, although I did find some NUTT family members. You may want to check in Lucas Co. for him- it was very common for people to cross the river to live, since the area south of the river was not conducive to habitation until about the 1850s. Most of Wood Co. was part of the Great Black Swamp, and it was full of mosquitoes, snakes, and various other dangerous animals. It is also possible that he died, although in this time period (pre-1867), deaths were not recorded at the county level. If he left property to his heirs, there may be some papers dealing with the estate in the Probate Court offices in Bowling Green.
