Marjorie G. ARCHER, 82, of Toledo, OH, and formerly of Perrysburg, OH, died Monday, June 2, 2003, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born on March 16, 1921, in St. Paul, MN to John and Helen (Harris) Paulsrud and was married in St. Paul, MN on October 7, 1941, to Harry C. Archer. She had attended Macalester College in St. Paul, MN. Marjorie, along with her husband, Harry, owned and operated the former Perrysburg Quickprint for over 10 years and was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Perrysburg. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She also loved her cats, loved to play cribbage, play the piano, and traveled extensively with her husband to Europe and Scotland to visit relatives.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Harry C.; sons, Harry C. Archer Jr. of Stanton, VA and David J. Archer of Columbus, OH; daughter, Katharine H. (Robert) Jarosz of Walbridge, OH; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Leonard Paulsrud and nephew, Jeffrey Paulsrud.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2003, in the First Presbyterian Church of Perrysburg, 200 E. Second St., Perrysburg, OH, with Pastor Stephen R. Hill officiating. There will be no visitation and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Western Lake Erie Historical Society, the First Presbyterian Church of Perrysburg, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, or to the Kidney Foundation.
