Hi - I agree w Sherrie, that it would be helpful if you would add information. Date of birth - NOT date of death - is essential in finding someone in public records such as the census.
Also please add specific town/county/state names. You mention having researched this family yourself, so you could post transcriptions of the census records/other records you have found. Otherwise volunteers will find those same records and post them, as they try to figure out the family for you. Then you'll answer "I already have that." Translation: "You wasted your time." Better to skip that whole phase of this project!
Also could you clarify your goal? I presume you want to move the family history back in time, to the parents of George and Nancy. Is that right?
Since you've contacted a family member who has done a family history, seems you would know all the family history already, so it would help if you clarify what is unknown.
Hope you don't mind I expanded a bit (I hope respectfully) on what Sherrie stated as needs.
I'm a volunteer and other responders probably will be too unless you specifically state you want to hear from family only.
I'll check back in several days to see what all has been found. -- All best!
