Lee Hamilton Dillard Services
Services are to be Sunday at 2 pm in Harmony Baptist Church for Lee Hamilton Dillard, 87 year old County rancher who passed on March 24 in Atoka hospital.
Atoka Funeral Home and Rev. Steve O'Kelly will be in charge of services.
Mr. Dillard was born December 3, 1883, at Tishomingo, Chickasaw Nation, into a family prominent in ranching and tribal affairs for many decades.
Dillard, west of Ardmore, was named for the clan.
His parents were Josiah H. and Victoria Evelina Butler Dillard. (Note by Steve Dillard: his mother’s maiden name was actually Victoria Emily Buckner)
He was married November 4, 1944, to Carrie Ruby Barton at DeQueen, Arkansas.
Survivors include his wife of Atoka; three daughters, Etta Vick Lane of Concord, California, Minnie Gee of Whittier, California, and Alice Lytle of Atoka; and seventeen grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren; and three brothers, Douglas and James of Ardmore and Jerry of Ringling.
