I am trying to locate the grave of James Tyson b. 1821 d.1857 in Bryan Co. He was married to Charlotte Love.A picture of his grave was taken on July 14,1930 and a description of the site was the Old Coffey plantation about 6 miles west of Colbert in the Coffey Bend region (S.17,Tnp 7 S,R.8 E). His grave was located about 400 yards west of the home site on the top of a ridge in the woods. The grave was enclosed by a well built brick wall. The above location shows to be in the square mile that faces Leavenworth Trail about 3 or 4 miles south and Peas and Quiet is a place in that section.I have talked to a number of the residence but no one seems to know of a grave although there seems to still be a lot of woods in that section.Has anyone ever heard of this place. He is my great-great grandfather and I would like to find him.Charlotte Love married a man named Nathan Coffey when James died and that could be why the place was called the Coffey Plantation.
