I'm researching a murder trial and I was wondering if anyone directly involved with the case might have kept a journal or told family stories about it. I have LOTS of newspaper articles about it. Just wondering if there was something more personal in someone's old papers.
Here are some of the people: Jury: A.H. Kerr, Ben McCurtain, E.A. Morrow, W.W. Reynolds, Cul boswell, Jim Dees, E.O. White, P.H. Haville, T.O. Cobble,J.R. Partain, Ed. Clark, Wes Dameron
Court Clerk: Lacy Grimes Deputy: Ralph H. Daugherty
Attorneys: Victor C. Phillips, Stanley Williams, J.T. McIntosh, W.E. Utterback, D.S. MacDonald, William Semple
Judges: Jesse Hatchet, George S. March
There were over 60 witnesses called and the courthouse was "standing room only" for four days.
