OBE HUGHES Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for OBE WATSON HUGHES. Mr. Hughes was born at Hamilton, Alabama, Dec. 24, 1891 and died suddenly at the family home at Dillard, June 12, of food poisoning. Surviving are his wife; one daughter Mrs. PAUL SINGLEY of Edmond, three sons, HOLLIS of Duncan, BRYCE of the home, and DRENNEN of Wilson, and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church with Rev. S. G. ROGERS and Rev. WALKER FERGUSON officiating. Mr. Hughes was a kind and considerate father, a good neighbor and friend.
T. J. SULLIVAN THOMAS J. SULLIVAN was born in Johnson County, Indian Territory, May 1, 1898 and departed this life June 11, 1938 at the family home at Rexroat. He married CORA GRISSON, August 1922, and to this union were born four children. Mr. Sullivan had recently returned from west Texas where he was employed. Surviving are his wife and children, J. R., KENNETH, FRANCIS and EMMA JEAN, his mother, six brothers and four sisters, all of whom were present except one sister. Funeral services were held at the Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. PAUL FINCHUM officiating.
