The challenge in Oklahoma is that they don't release vital record dates for publishing. I'm sure you'll want to find out where and when Louis's wife Josie died.
You can try to order a copy of her death certificate from the Dept Health, www.ok.gov/health/Birth_and_Death_Certificates/ but there are restrictions.
You can search online cemetery indexes and obituaries in Choctaw and Tillman Co. OK.
If you don't have a copy of Layfayette's obituary, you'll want to find one. If you're not familiar on how to do this, post a message on the Dallas Co., Texas Message Board.
L. G. Golightly

Buried: Rehoboth Cemetery, Arlington, Tarrant, Texas
Source: findagrave.com and there's a pic of the tombstone at that web site.
Born: 14 Oct 1887
MAYBE Last REsidence: Paris, Lamar, Texas
Died: Oct 1976
His soc. sec. # was assigned in Oklahoma before 1951.
Source: Social Security Death Index.
You'll want a copy of his obituary too.
Do you have a marriage certificate for Layfayette marrying Connie Arthur?
This family gets very confusing very quickly with father and son using initials instead of their full names. You'll have to be careful about attaching children to parents, etc. That's where copies of actual birth, marriage and death certificates become very important. Successful Searching!
