Hi Ken, Thanks for the note. What kind of info are you looking for on Charles Brown? Do you know where he is buried or when he died? Have you gotten a copy of his obit? his death cert? Do you know where he was born? Have you found him in the census records? Check for him in the 1910 or 1900 & you might find him listed with his parents in Butler? It will also list the state where the parents were born & then you can check that state for records on the next generation back.. Work back in each generation & gather as many records as you can find on your family. Check family Bibles & talk with all your oldest family members - Aunt's & Uncles- to learn more clues to help you in your paper search for records. Take old family photos out & ask the oldest members of the family who they were & write these names down to help you. I took some old photos & had them enlarged to make it easier for the older relatives to see who they were.. this was really fun to take to family reunions & gather info that way too.
