I did find one small mention of Minnie's death and funeral.Says she was the wife of and was well known in the community.Thank goodness we had the complete dates because the funeral homes here don't have records that old.It was election time and evidently the publisher thought that was more important than the death of someone. I was about to decide that Edward B Medlock had been buried alive because I never did find an obit for him.BUT my trusty friends at the funeral home helped me out. He was born Feb 3 1868 and passed away Oct 4 1954.He lived @ 324 S 6th in Clinton. He was a carpenter, member of the Baptist church, born in Missouri, died in the hospital of cerebra embolism. His father was Silas Medlock and his mother was Solome Summers. The had a nice funeral with the casket costing $478 and a total of $534.04. His suit was $25.The 1910 census shows Minnie never had any children. So if he had any it would have to be thru Dora.Haven't found those yet. Might try a death certificate from Oklahoma?By 1954, they were usually done.It might tell you a relative who gave the info.I can send you hard copy of this or email images.
