From the Enid Morning News, Enid, Garfield county, Oklahoma, Sunday, July 4, 1976 "GEORGE E. GROVE Service for George E. Grove, ....... is at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lloyd H. Lambert officiating. Burial will follow the ceremony in the Enid Cemetery. Grove, 72, died in an Enid hospital Saturday after a 10-day illness. Born April 22, 1904 in Enid, Indian Territory. Grove attended the Kenwood School and graduated from Enid High School. He lived in Enid all his life and was involved with several businesses until his retirement. He married the former Mabel Sinderson, December 22, 1926 and was a member of the Central Christian Church............... Survivors include his wife, Mabel of the home; ...........two brothers, Marvin Grove of Pomona, California and Ralph Grove of Enid; and one sister, Mrs. Allen (Esther) McMillin of Independence, Kansas."
From the Enid Morning News, Enid, Garfield county, Oklahoma, Thursday, October 27, 1977 "MRS. GEORGE E. GROVE Funeral service for Mrs. George E. Grove, 69,who died late Tuesday in an Oklahoma City hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Central Christian Church. Dr. Lloyd Lambert and the Rev. James A. Underwood will officiate. Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery. The Henninger-Allen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Grove was born in Jennings, Louisiana and moved to Enid with her parents in 1914. She graduated from high school here. She and George E. Grove were married here December 22, 1926. He died July 3, 1976..................................... She is survived by ...........................Mrs. Everett (Grace) Garnett of Enid and Mrs. D.R. (vivan) Parr of Greeley, Colorado; and a brother, Harry Sinderson of Enid. Another brother and a sister died earlier."
