I am searching for my Hall family from Mississippi to Texas. I would love to have a copy or link to the 1870 Houston, Tx. Census that you said "I have found on census 1870 in Houston County, TX. A Margaret Hall (Widow) with Children using initials only." My family line that moved from Mississipi to Texas in the 1860's were John Hall and wife Margaret (maiden name Autry). John died between 1860-1867 either in Tx or Ms. Margaret died about 1867 in Tx. Their known children are William Lewis (aka Buck) Hall, Nancy Susan Hall, John T. Hall, and Margaret Caroline Hall. I believe that there are at least 2 more children. I know that after Margaret died in about 1867 the children return to Mississpi to stay with family, they later returned to Burleson Co. Texas. The oldest brother William Lewis (aka: Buck and/or W.L) moved him and his siblings to Mississipi to be with family after two years he took his younger siblings back to Texas by wagon against family wishes. I would love to know where in Mississipi the family was from and names of the family members they stayed with. I would also love to hear from descendants of William Lewis Hall married Hariett Autry, Nancy Susan Hall married Uriah Mullens, Margaret Caroline Hall married James Thomas Crawford, and John T. Hall marriage, children and where abouts unknown. Margaret Caroline Hall married to James Thomas Crawford is my gg grandmother. I have verified her parents name through a lovely lady Sandra Dea who looked up her death certificate for me, as a volunteer in Runnels county Usgenweb. I have also verified the know siblings William Lewis, Nancy Susan, Margaret Caroline and John T. through census records and obits. I want to thank everyone in advance for any help or assistance. If I can be of assistance for look up or research in Garvin County, Oklahoma please do not hesitate to contact me. I am more than willing to replay the kindness shown to me by other volunteers.
