Thank you for having walked the cemetery. It must be your work on it that helped me find John Franklin Rogers brother James William Rogers. He died in 1929 and is buried in Rush Springs Cemetery as are his wife and several chidren and spouses. I have requested his death certificate to make sure he is the son of John C. Rogers, Jr and Mary Berry.
In 1910, this James William was in Texas County, Oklahoma with wife Rebecca Wilson. Next door in Cimarron County I had found a John F. Rogers whom I thought was mine. He was born in 1874 in Missouri and had children with common Rogers family names: Mary, William, John C. I discounted this one as mine when I found the Rush Springs John F. Rogers with wife Hattie McKinley. These two brothers had stayed close together so I went with the Rush Springs one. I may be wrong. I just need to find death dates and counties so I can use the death certificate approach.
