Linda, Yes I know their names. Willam Andrew Shaw and Ellen Francis Mitchell.I have Ellens parents also, but am unsure about William Shaws Parents. These two were shown on the 1880 census in scott county, near Waldron.I have been told she died in 1880 and he died in 1884. I have found him on land records in 1884, so I am unsure of his death date, nor do I have record of where they are buried.I have searched all the cemetaries around Waldron and I have not found them. My aunt says she has but she cant seem to remember where. The 3 boys,Daniel Alexander,Wiley Chervis and Charles Cicero were orphaned when William died and said to be sent to Texas to live with relatives.Wileys brother Charles was a doctor in the Oklahoma City area.My great granfather, his other brother Daniel, or D.A.Shaw as he was known was a minister, Judge and almost a Senator, but he died before he could take office of appendicitus in 1927. His wife Nora Harrison Shaw took office for a short period after his death. Any other info you could tell me would be great. I will tell you that on Wileys draft card it says his address was Britton Oklahoma, in Oklahoma county. It was dated a few years before his death. Are you a relative and if so can you tell me how? If you would like to email me directly you may.
