ELMO POLK
Last rites fro ELMO ‘TUSS’ POLK, 72, Stonewall, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Stonewall High School auditorium. Mr. FARRELL STEPHENS will officiate. Smith Funeral Home is in charge. Burial will be in Stonewall cemetery. Polk died Wednesday morning in a local hospital. He was a resident of Coal County for many years. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. CELO DAVIS of Stonewalland Mrs. MARY ELLEN WELCH of Odessa, Texas; two sons, TALOR POLK of Odessa, Texas and LEE POLK of Hobart; three brothers, JOHN POLK of Stonewall, JIM POLK of Coalgate, and PASCAL POLK of Lehigh; a sister, Mrs. MAUDE STEVENS of Coalgate; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services for LEE POLK, 50, Oklahoma City, who died Monday in Hobart, were at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church of Stonewall. Rev. COFFEY officiated. Smith Funeral Home directed the services. Burial was in Stonewall Cemetery. Mr. Polk leaves his wife, Mrs. ETHEL POLK, a daughter Mrs. WANDA LEE CHADWICK of Oklahoma City; a son CHARLES DAVID POLK of the home, two sisters Mrs. MARY WELCH of Odessa, Texas and Mrs. CLEO DAVIS of Stonewall; and a brother, T. G. POLK of Odessa, Texas.
