The Grandview cemetery in Kaw City was above the level of the lake and was not relocated, though a few of the graves may have been moved. It is located North of Kaw City on highway 11 where it crosses the lake.
Two other cemeteries were relocated when Kaw Lake was built. Washunga cemetery was moved east of the Newkirk Cemetery, and the Oak Grove Cemetery is now a section of the Ponca City IOOF Cemetery which is southwest of Ponca City.
The following graves from Washunga were moved to the Grandview Cemetery, Kaw City:Ruth Conn Nash, John Russell Means, W. F. "Chum" Cross, Roy Munroe, Carrie Munroe, Lawrence Hill, William Jones, and Henrietta Jones.
